About Patty Hoffman
Patty has been faux finishing since 1991. Since that time she has attended numerous classes and conventions to keep abreast of the latest trends and products while further developing her skills. Some of the schools she has attended are the Finishing School in New York, their satellite school in Pennsylvania, the Chicago Institute of Fine finishes, Dimensions Plaster line in Palm Beach, Vigini Studios in San Antonio, and yearly the International Decorative Artisans League conference where she takes a full slate of workshops.
From the preparatory steps of choosing the right mix of colors and matching the appropriate painting technique, to the application of the client’s chosen finish, Patty has developed a reputation of excellence and integrity. She executes unsurpassed designs that include faux finishes, Cabinetry finishes, murals, trompe l’oeil, textured finishes, stenciling, color consulting and more.
In 1995, Patty had the opportunity of a lifetime when she traveled with a team of artisans to Naworth castle in Northern England. There she lived and painted for two weeks and learned many new faux finishing techniques. Several years later she was asked to return to the 700 year old castle, where she performed additional work to help restore and beautify more rooms.
Whether your space is a castle, home or business, Patty will transform it to suit your needs!
